"All who are here, stand before this magnificent misfit," A fat man said as the curtains rose. I, Cameron Haddix Alexander, was recognized for my strange ability to turn into a...full-sized, man-eating wolf.
Gasps were heard all around the room. The moon was at it's peak, just about to be in the center of the sky. More and more gasps were heard as soon as I began the transformation.
First, I sprouted ears. Then a tail, both a beautiful white. Then came the paws, a darting sky blue. My legs turned furry, as I slipped. I stood on all fours, watching myself change in a mirror provided.
My arms soon became brown, just like my legs. My face stretched out and, at the very tip, was my nose. Brown. And my muzzle and face began to change to. No longer was I straight A student at Withermont Junior High, I was a beast.

"Hey look! It's wolf-girl! " A boy exclaimed. "Oh, watch out...She'll bite ya!"
I let out a small sneer, yet I kept walking down the hall, clutching my books with tremendous force. My knuckles turned white.
My only friend, Mirah Greenfield, walked up behind me.
"Boo!" She exclaimed. My books tumbled to the ground.
"Oh, hey Mirah. Nice...shirt..." I smiled and looked at her new Halloween shirt that said DON'T WORRY. I PROMISE I WON'T BITE. and an image of blood trickling from each word sent a shudder through me.
She pulled it out in front of her. "Oh, thanks. Mom got it for me, yesterday. And, heh. You never know. The shirt may lie."
My vampire friend smiled, showing off pure white fangs.
I picked up my books from the ground and smiled, turning back to her.
"I see." I managed just before the bell rang. "See ya!" I whimpered as I shut my locker door and began towards my classrom.

"Well, well, well. What do we have here?" The boy who had picked on my earlier sneered. I rolled away, just as his horrific fangs came towards my neck.
"Cameron! Cameron, wait!" He exclaimed. It sounded like Mirah's voice, but I knew that Vampires could make themselves sound different.
I bolted out into the school yard, dodging teachers, who yelled at me for knocking their papers down out of their hands. I began to run home when suddenly, my legs stopped. I stood there, in the middle of the street, trying to budge my legs.
"Heh, heh. Like my new trick, Cameron?" The voice made it clear now, that I was dealing with a master.
"Spencer. Let me go!" The force let go, yet I walked towards him, wincing.
"Why, hello my dearie. Hold on one second. Let me help you..." He lunged at me, fangs and all.
"No!" I screamed and wailed out an arm. I opened my eyes to see that I had punched the never- aging Vampire.
Mirah raced to my side, a teacher following. She quickly yelled back to the security, Rob, and the fat man chuckled, arresting Spencer. My worries were over. Or were they?
